How NDC Optimized the Coating Process
Sal Paper needed to monitor and accurately, reliably control the coat weight levels of the web during the adhesive coating process. NDC offered an IR-based, fixed-point coat weight measurement system with the flexibility of manually sliding across the web width. The solution included NDC’s ConvertIR gauge. Sal Paper invested in the first NDC gauge for water-based coat weight measurement back in 2019.
